Best of TED (Teil 2)

TED steht für Technology, Entertainment und Design und das ist eine jährliche Konferenz in Kalifornien, wo sich eine Menge Wissenschaftler, Ingenieure, Politiker und Unternehmen treffen. In den Vorträgen präsentieren einige von ihnen ihre aktuelle Arbeit oder neuste Erkenntnisse aus ihrem Themengebiet.
Auf der Homepage ted.com sind einige der Vorträge als Videos (in englisch) erhältlich. Jedem Wochentag wird ein neues Video aus einer der ehemaligen Konferenzen hinzugefügt. Diese Vorträge sind immer sehr interessant und man lernt sehr viel davon.
Bis jetzt habe ich bereits drei Viertel der Videos gesehen, die bisher veröffentlicht wurden. Die meisten dieser Vorträge sind wirklich gut und es wert angesehen zu werden. Dennoch habe ich eine Liste der Vorträge zusammengestellt, die mir bisher am besten gefallen haben.

Diese Liste spiegelt meine persönliche Meinung wieder und ist keine offizielle Liste, die von TED erstellt wurde.

Die Ratings unter den Videos, wurden von der Community auf der TED-Homepage vergeben. Auch wenn ich im Allgemeinen mit diesen Ratings übereinstimme.

Die Liste ist in keiner bestimmten Ordnung. Es ist also eine Aussage über die Qualität des Videos, wenn es jetzt oben oder unten auf der Liste steht.

Ich werde weiterhin TED-Folgen schauen und die besten sammeln. Sobald wie mal wieder 50 Videos zusammen habe, werde ich auch diese Liste wieder veröffentlichen. Das kann allerdings noch ein paar Monate dauern.

Geektipp: Wer sich die Liste lokal auf seinem Computer speichert, kann die bereits gesehenen Vorträge aus dem HTML-Code löschen und die Statistik berechnet dann die Gesamt- und Durchschnittslänge für alle verbliebenen Videos. Auf diese Weise kann man auch die Teile 1 und 2 zusammen in eine Liste kopieren und sich so die verbleibende Gesamtlänge anzeigen lassen.
